This privacy statement covers the web site at WWW.PentagonSailing.Org. Because we want to demonstrate our commitment to our member's privacy, we agree to disclose our information practices. If users have questions or concerns regarding this statement, they should contact the PSC Webmaster.
Information Collection
The only way we collect information is if you send it to us via snail mail or
email. We employ no methods of gathering information from folks who surf this
site.
Registration
We require no registration. Any information you want to share is entirely voluntary.
Orders
We do not have a "shopping cart" or any method of collecting information,
and therefore we take no orders. If you follow a link to another site that does
take orders, consult that site's privacy statement for what they do with your
information.
Information Use
Any information you provide will be posted only with your permission. If we've
posted something with which you are uncomfortable, tell us and we'll fix it.
Profile
We store no information online - except what you see, nor do we create profiles.
We may keep the emails you send us. We never share any information you provide
us with third parties.
Cookies
We don't use them. If you follow a link to another site, they might. However,
we have no access to that information, nor any control over that. Consult that
site's privacy statement for information as to how they use cookies.
Clear
Gifs (Web Beacons/Web
Bugs)
Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to
cookies, and are sometimes used to track the online movements of Web users -
and sometimes just as a graphic design trick to position page elements. Clear
gifs are invisible on the page and about the size of the period at the end of
this sentence. We don't use them. If we ever do, it would be as a design element.

Party Advertising
We don't do advertising. Though we occasionally point you to online bookstores,
chandleries, training organizations, etc, we do not use cookies, web beacons
or employ pop-up ads, etc. Certainly some of these other online entities use
cookies. Consult their privacy statement for details of how they collect information.
They share no personal information with us.
Log Files
We don't use them.

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose
personal information if required by law, when we have a good-faith belief that
doing so is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court
order or legal process served on our Web site.

This Web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not
responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you

While there are no such forums integral to this site, we may integrate such

posting personal information online that is publicly accessible, you may receive
