New Membership-Basic Sailing Course Package

     New Membership - PSC Basic Sailing Course Package
      (Note that only ONE class seat is included in
         the package; each additional class seat is $325)

 $395.00 1) Join the PSC and sign up for the Basic Sailing Course at the same time and receive a discount on your first years dues.
2) Discounted dues of $70.00 applies to both single and family new PSC memberships.

4) Does NOT include ASA 101/103 Certification which is $40.00 additional.
5) USNSA B-KBS Certification as part of a PSC Basic Sailing Course is $32.  Includes one year USNSA membership and B-KBS certification

Training
    PSC Basic Sailing Course $325.00 1) For current members.  Price includes two mid-week evening classroom sessions and four weekend days of on-the-water training.
2) Does NOT include ASA 101/103 Certification which is $40.00 additional.
3) USNSA B-KBS Certification as part of a PSC Basic Sailing Course is $26.  Includes one year USNSA membership and B-KBS certification 
    USNSA B-KBS Certification as part of
            a PSC Basic Sailing Course		 $32.00 Includes one year USNSA membership and USNSA B-KBS Certification
    ASA 101/103 Certification as part of
            a PSC Basic Sailing Course		 $40.00 Includes one year ASA membership, ASA Passbook, and ASA 101/103 Certifications
    Challenge of PSC Basic Sailing Course (ASA 101/103) $100.00 Involves passing an on-the-water evaluation and successful completion of ASA 101/103 written exams.
    Winter Training Program (WTP) $25.00 or 1 (one) FVSM coupon For all classes except Navigation I & II, and First Aid & CPR
    WTP - Nav I & II (one fee covers both parts-2 Saturdays) $75 (or $50 plus 1[one] FVSM coupon. Fee covers both sessions and you must sign up for both sessions.
    PSC Bay Skipper Written Exams:   Required for those in the PSC Cruising Skipper Training Program.
          General Knowledge Exam $15.00  
          Navigation Exam $20.00  
          Rules of the Road Exam $15.00  
    WTP - First Aid & CPR   Fee for class/certification established by Red Cross and announced separately
    PSC Cruising Skipper Check sheet and Logbook $10.00 Required for those in the PSC Cruising Skipper Training Program.
    ASA-104 Bareboat Cruising $100.00 plus charter boat fees

Includes book and exam.
    ASA-105 Piloting & Navigation $95.00 Includes book and exam.
    ASA-118 Docking Endorsement $45.00 plus charter boat fees Includes book and exam.
    ASA-106 Advanced Coastal Cruising $1,000.00 7-day DELMARVA cruise, includes exam.
    ASA-201/203 Instructor Qualification Clinic (IQC) Contact ASA Course scheduled for 30 May to 2 Jun 2013.
Sailing

    PSC River Boat Use (per 4-hr period)

1 (one) FVSM coupon

One FVSM coupon (or $25) may be exchanged for up to 4 hours of boat use during:
Morning period: 0800-1200, or
Afternoon period: 1300-1700
Use during evening period (1600 on) is only by permission of the River Commodore. (See Boat Use Policy.)

    Bay Boat Charter Day Sails*

 $130.00 Rate applies to single day sails and does NOT apply to Raft-Ups or 2-day overnight sails.
 One FVSM coupon may be used per day.
Skippers pay half.

     Bay Boat Charter 2-Day Night Sailing Overnight Sails*

 $290.00

One FVSM coupon may be used per segment.

     Memorial Day 3-Day Raft-up* $330.00 Applies to PSC chartered boats.
      1) Skippers and the Raft-up Coordinator go for half price.
     2) Up to two FVSM coupons may be used per person.
     3) First time Raft-up discount of $50.00 applies to members who sign up for their first PSC Raft-up.
     30th Birthday Flotilla 7-Day Sail* $600.00 Applies to PSC chartered boats.
      1) Skippers go for half price.
     2) Up to two FVSM coupons may be used per person.
     *Bay Boat Charter (Training Sails and 3-Day Raft-ups)  

Lock in your sail with a low down payment!!  No need to pay everything up front.

Down Payments (see above for actual Bay sail rates) required:

  • $50 per day for training sails (no FVSM for down payment)
  • $100 for a 3-day raft-up sail  (no FVSM for down payment)
  • $100 for a 2 day with overnight.
  • $200 for a 4 day sail (such as Bootcamp)
  • Non-refundable
  • Balance due (postmarked) NLT 30 days prior to sail (FVSM may be used for paying balance IAW above limits)
