The Pentagon Sailing Club is a volunteer association dedicated to safe recreational sailing on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, the Chesapeake Bay, and wherever the winds may take us. We base our operations out of Capitol Cove Marina on Bolling Air Force Base, and maintain a fleet of club-owned sailboats. The PSC offers classroom training, on-the-water sailing instruction, recreational sailing, and club charters.
PSC volunteers are recognized for their service at the PSC Holiday Party & Awards Dinner on December 1, 2012. |
We train and qualify our members in affiliation with the U.S. Naval Sailing Association. |
The Pentagon Sailing Club is also an American Sailing Association facility. |
Our Vision - To provide the best recreational sailing opportunities to US military, DoD civilians, their families, and their friends in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area! Membership, however, is open to all. |

This is where you may post a notice looking for members to crew or sail with you on your boat on a one-time or recurring basis, volunteering to crew on other members' boats, asking for help relocating boats, announcing other events/activities (sailing or non-sailing) that would interest club members, etc. Notices will be posted for up to 30 days. If a member wants their notice posted for longer than 30 days, the member must submit a new request every 30 days. The decision to post or not post any submitted notice will be made by the PSC webmaster. Club members may submit their notices (in Word format) to the PSC webmaster at webmaster@pentagonsailing.org.
